The quote was taken from a "fan" under the "comments" section of the video
(sometimes very colorful language in the music industry).

As to the "birth" of rock 'n roll, let us leave such academic decisions up
to the new breed of musicologists who are now in line to sit in the
distinguished Chairs of music history throughout American colleges and universities.

Who made that quote?
I always thought it was Buddy Holly, the Big Bopper and Richie Valens were
the real first Rockers.
Certainly the Stones were of the 'next' generation to propel rock into the
bigger spotlight, along with the Beatles.
After they appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show, rock 'n roll was here to stay!
