Subj: [DR-L] BASSOON: what is value of a 6200 series Heckel?

Dear List:
A friend of mine has a Heckel bassoon, 6200 series. She has it
insured for $24,000 now and was wondering if this is an accurate
amount at this time She's also thinking about insuring it for
replacement cost--the cost of a new Heckel. What are the various
opinions on this subject? (new Heckels are about $45K, right?)
