If a cork pad is sticking and you absolutely must fix it immediately,
a temporary solution is to put a piece of teflon plumbers' tape over
the pad. This will also work if the pad is leaking because it is
slightly cracked.

Often cork pads on articulated keys will stick because the seat has
become too deep and the pad "grabs" the tone hole. The only real
solution is to replace the pad, but the teflon tape will help there,
too, usually for quite a long time.
