Good morning!
Thought I heard of everything connected to the oboe but here--unfortuntely
in Portuguese--is Prof. Leo Fuks' ice oboe, yes made out of ice and taken
out of the refrigerator ,as shown on a popular Brazilian morning TV
program,Ana Braga. (Yes ice oboe developed in the tropics!)
Prof. Fuks,who teaches acoustics at Rio's Federal University in Rio,
appeared at a West Va. IDRS conference and originated the bicycle orchesta.
He developed the ice oboe for his recent lecture tour to ...Sweden..
