Three of my kids were born in the '80's, and I got married in 1980, so the
'80's are okay by me! Cute quote.

I found a book at our local public library by Consumer Reports. I don't
recall the exact title, but it was Cosmetic Ingredients or something close
to that. Ingredients are listed in alphabetical order.

Also found:

But at least some of what's in your cosmetics might not be so good for you.
One example is the family of chemicals known as phthalates (pronounced
THAL-ates), which may be linked to developmental and reproductive health
risks. The industry says phthalates are safe, but some companies have
dropped them in response to public concern.

Or search under "cosmetic ingredients" at amazon.com.

“The '80s were fabulous. The '90s sucked, and the '70s were just a sad, sad
time in human history. Go 1980s! There's something that's just so cute about
that time. And not just yellow nail polish and 'I'm a loner.'”

Those methyl compounds scare me, and the "extra mild" formula doesn't give
me a warm fuzzy feeling either. I reckon most of them would be unfriendly
to
the kidneys.
Cyanoacrylate may be the better choice for reed makers.
