I personally do not use fingernail polish except on rare occasion, and then
it's usually clear, but, yes, I think all polish remover is now an oil based
formula that does not contain acetone.

Found this at a Walgreen's web site after googling: nail polish remover
ingredients:

Ingredients

Methyl Acetate , Water , Butoxydiglycol , Dimethyl Adipate , Dimethyl
Glutarate , Fragrance , Benzophenone-1 , Denatonium Benzoate , Sodium
Acetate , D&C Red No. 17 , D&C Yellow No. 11

Mavala extra mild remover ingredients:

Butyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Dibutyl Adipate, Citrus
Aurantium Amara (Bitter Orange)Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride,
Benzophenone-3, Cl 26100 (D&C #17).

They all warn to keep away from heat and flame.

Miriam
