I own two Puchner bassoons. The first is 7606. Imported by Custom =
Music
and serviced by Cooper. It does not have the "Cooper/Puchner" markings. =
It
is probably the finest bassoon I have ever played. My son is now using =
it
and I purchased a "Model 6000" #13xxx. It too is a fine bassoon...
The 7000 series has been appraised at about 12k. I would not consider
selling for less the 10-11k. I personally think 8500 is a bit low,
depending of course, on the playability and condition...
