Sameer,

I believe much of this phenomenon may be attributed to the ability of a
player to "relax" while actually pushing more sound through his
instrument. It's really a matter of becoming more "efficient" at
producing sound.

I suspect we naturally tend to develop more efficient patterns both in
fingering and blowing as we develop our skill.
