Hi -

I hit a Contrabassoon Concerto by Kalevi Aho on my first try. Pretty
great piece! Not sure if that was the work the email below was
referring to or not.

Live365 is a great resource. I have been spending hours on it, perusing
the various stations, since discovering it a couple months ago. I've
tried to talk John at Forrests into sponsoring or running an
all-doublereed station, especially since they carry so many doublereed
CDs. No luck as of yet.

Congratulations to Guy Mallery for taking the initiative to get this
going. It is great to have a resource for checking out new works. I'm
much more likely to purchase something if I've had the chance to hear
it first.

It's on there...The loop runs 3 hours (legal minimum...)
so there's a one in six chance you'll hit it first time...
Qualiton (in NY) had 150 of the disks, but every Tuba
player in America wants one too.
