Am I mistaken, or did I hear somewhere that it is harder and harder to
find well seasoned (dried, not peppered) wood for oboes. There seems to
be some logic to this, since it is true for other instrument woods.
Also, I am confused by the statement about the bore absorbing moisture
and shrinking. Can anybody help?
