There were two men, as I recall, whose careers were ruined due to them
having been blamed. A lie that went on for decades before people in the US
knew the truth.

It was our War Powers Act that would not allow our involvement without being
attacked, first. If only it hadn't been rewritten, and we couldn't have gone
into .... well you know...
