Exactly! Very funny, but no, Garrison doesn't play the bassoon, and no, he
was never a stage manager. He writes humor. This one was another
fund-raiser concert, for the pension fund of the MN Orchestra. Note the
reference to the concertmaster, Jorja Fleezanis. The William Tell bit at
the end featured the orchestra's bassoon section playing the brass fanfare
(remember the Lone Ranger?), which sounded wonderful.
