Jim,
I had the need to do a bit of a crash course on him. He was born
Plymouth Brethren, changed later to Lutheran and latterly to
Episcopalian and yes, his 3rd wife is a violist. Perhaps he wrote the
piece as a Lutheran fund raiser? ;-) He has been roughed up a bit for
"attacking the Pope's ceremonials" and so on. But I do accept the piece
he recently wrote about his President and the war, which I posted this
morning. I think this comes the end of my interest in Garrison Keillor.
