Dear List,

In researching midi files recently, I have discovered that it has become
extremely difficult to find/share these files. Some sites even post a
disclaimer stating their firm stand against internet regulation prohibiting the
download/sharing of their music in midi format. This legal standoff is apparently
due to copyright laws now impacting those of us who download midi for
personal use.

Can anyone share information on the current status of midi downloads?
