News on Kelbert Taylor, principal bassoonist with the Dallas Wind
Symphony (from DWS headquarters):

/We wanted to let you all know that longtime DWS Bassoonist Kelbert
Taylor is currently in ICU at RHD Memorial Hospital in Farmers Branch.
He has been hospitalized since last Wednesday (Dec 27). In addition to
preexisting congestive heart failure, he is having serious kidney
problems. We will keep everyone updated as we hear more information.
In the mean time, cards, gifts, and flowers in water (not in soil) can
be sent to Kelbert at the following address:/

/The doctor is requesting very limited visitation due to Kelbert’s
condition. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers./

/ /Only two weeks ago at the Midwest Clinic, Kelbert was performing in
top form with the DWS. He is one of the world's great bassoonists and
great friend.
