Subj: [DR-L] Profanity????

Now here's an interesting exchange of msgs that I just had regarding
several msgs between myself and Herb. Does whoever sent it really
think that anyone who has the temerity to criticize Pres Bush is
uttering profanities?

Here's the msg that I just received:

Hi Herb.

I can tell you I had the impression at first that he George Bush was
not very bright at all, just because at first he acted like a
stumblebum, making all sorts of verbal and other gaffes in speech,
and generally appearing incompetent. I have since revised my opinion
about his intelligence. While I would not classify him as brilliant
in any way, he does seem to be at least competent to discuss many of
the issues he deals with. At least he is able to give some
coherence to his policies and arguments. So the supposed low level
off his intelligence is not for me an issue of any kind now.

However, very much worse is the set of values he espouses, and puts
into practice. His lies about Iraq which he used as a justification
for the invasion and occupation of that country resulting in the
abominably bad results that we all know about.

I happen to agree with the rest of your very well-written msg.

Happy new year.
