I used to "answer letters" from irate New Yorkers when I worked at the
U.S. Treasury Department. Sometimes government officials bite their
nails trying to figure out ways to explain situations their bosses have
gotten them (a/k/a the U.S. Government) into. So you should write a
letter to the White House. Let them bite their nails.
