It is actually the Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul, built by the
Episcopal Church. It is known as the National Cathedral, as it is
open for all faith communities for "national" events-- it has nothing
to do with Congress, etc. Incidentally, Gerald Ford was an
Episcopalian and faithful church attendee.
