Thanks, Richard. This is good to know.
I know that lots of players complain about the octaves at the end of the
Arabian Dance (Coffee). I made sure the 1st bassoon part was cued into the
English horn part, in my version. I doubt anybody will ever need to do it
that way, but somehow it seems like it might have been better to write it
that way in the first place.
To an oboist, this piece still seems like a lot of playing.
