Sameer,

Some of the cane that I have had good luck with lately aren't available
in gouged and shaped cane:

* Neuranter (yes, is available)
* oboecane.com (not available)
* glotin (yes, is available)
* Chinese (Golden Bamboo)(not available)
* Rigotti (yes, is available)

If you're worried about the quality of the gouged cane, you might invest
in one of the dial micrometers so that you can check the dimensions of
the gouge.
