Hello Miriam (et al) I don't think you need a new reed box to place in the
ReedVitalizer bag. It holds about 2-3 boxes of oboe reeds or bassoon reeds
in my family. I dorecommend changing to a Hefty brand zip-lock bag as it
seals the air inside the bag more effectively. Sincerely, Gerald Corey,
