Dear Prof. Gunter,
If you are looking for something on the light side for children of
all ages, you might want to try my Children's Songs.
Children's Songs is a medley including IT'S RAINING, IT'S POURING;
OVER IN THE MEADOW; MICHAEL FINNEGAN; ALL THE PRETTY LITTLE HORSES;
ROLL THAT RED BALL DOWN TO TOWN; SING A SONG OF SIXPENCE. Also for
BAND. The parts are all interesting, the harmonizations updated.
There is nothing like this currently available, as far as I know.
PDF files are available at: http://mysite.verizon.net/hsgersten/
newbandandchambe.html
You might also want to look at PDFs of Five Chinese Melodies and
Handel's For Unto Us A Child is Born, on the same web page.
Sincerely,
Herman
