I've been in an "alternate job" for many years now as a legal assistant and
love it. Thankfully for me it isn't just a daily grind (usually) and has
allowed me the freedom to continue my music career and actually have more
enjoyment out if it than I might otherwise have if it was the sole source of
income, something I'm sooooo thankful for. Part of me of course wishes I
could be a full time musician but when I look at the scene here in Canada it
doesn't take long to get back to reality that what I've got now is likely
the best for me short of a miracle.
