The celebration of Mozart's time in Salzburg continues! The ABO joins forces
with the Emory University Choir and internationally acclaimed early music
soprano, Jennifer Ellis in two of Wolfgang Amadeus's seldom-heard motets, the
"Sancta Maria, mater Dei," K. 273
and "Regina coeli," K. 127. These sumptuous choral works are framed by two
of his most innovative Salzburg symphonies whose imaginative scoring makes
full use of ABO's classical wind section.
Program:
Mozart: Symphony in F Major, K. 130
Mozart: Regina coeli in B-flat Major, K. 127
Mozart: Sancta Maria, mater Dei in F Major, K. 273
Mozart: Symphony in G Minor, K. 183
