I'd like to let list members know that the Kammermusik Winter Workshop 2007
is now open for registration. Please click on www.kammermusikworkshops.org
for information and registration.

This year it is being held from 17-19 February 2007 (a holiday weekend), as
usual in Santa Fe NM. The theme is an ensemble masterclass on "symphonic
harmoniemusik" - contemporary and some modern arrangements of
classical-period symphonic works, or symphonic style works such as Parthias.

There are openings for oboes, bassoons and contrabassoons. This year the
coach and leader is Christopher Weait, the renowned bassoonist, professor
and wind clinician, so it is of special interest to bassoonists.

The summer workshop on woodwind ensemble performance will be held from July
22-28. Registration will be available from about 17 October.

Don't hesitate to email me offlist for individual questions that are not
answered on the web site, or to ask questions of more general interest on
this list. Hope to see some of you in Santa Fe!
