Hello TIA (et al) I play Buffet/Crampon french system bassoon --- and I
wrote an article in an earlier issue of the IDRS Double Reed, on adding
certain keys to the french instrument to help players with difficult
pasages. I have a digital picture of a Buffet that has a connecting bridge
from near the low F tone hole (thumb hole right hand) up around the culasse
and connecting to the low F key -- there is no reason why a similar bridge
could be added to the Bb right hand 3 key, so it could be operated by the
right thumb.Let me know if you would like me to send a copy of my digital
