I guess things are done differently in your country. My understanding of
that initial discussion was that this was purely at the "talking to stage"
.. There are a whole raft of confidentiality issues at stake, I think if
anyone was to do that here, they would be sued very quickly. I know if it
were me, I would not want any discussions I made, made public.
Cheers

Dear List,
While openings are supposed to be posted in the International Musician,
If an ambitious player can find out who won a certain level audition,
He/she can see in advance of the I.M. Announcement, where an opening is
Going to happen. I think that it works like dominoes. . . So, I have to
Agree with Kevin that this is just practical information and not an
Invasion of privacy.
Does anyone else remember . . . Hmmmm. . .was it 1964 when Arthur
Krieloff walked out of Pittsburgh, so Eldon Gatwood moved in leaving the
2nd job in Cleveland open, The guy from D.C. . .Felix Krause? Went to
Cleveland so John Mack went to Washington leaving New Orleans open.
Meanwhile, there were openings in Dallas, and, I think, San Antonio It
Happened something like that. . .an amazing parade of musical chairs!
