Dear List:

Earlier in the week, I asked about the Atlanta Symphony's Principal Oboe
finals. While there have been no replies on the list, I did receive a call
from a friend, who gave me some information which I thought I'd pass along.

At the moment, there seem to be three people the ASO is looking at:

Chris Gaudi (student of Elaine Douvas),
Shea Scruggs (Acting Principal in Cincinnati), &
Martin Hebert (Principal, Oregon Symphony / list member)

No word yet on what's to happen next.

Since he's the only one of the three I've met, all the best to Marty!!
