Some weeks ago I wrote you about the Slum orchestra from Brazil which dances
rap and plays on the fiddles Vivaldi(not necessarily at the same time) and
that they were coming to NYC.
Their appearance at Queens College yesterday (Weds) was cancelled but they
are appearing tonite at the Cipriani restaurant at 42nd street downtown .
Only one "small" problem:the ticket cost is 500 bucks a plate for the
benefit!
In any case those wishing to make further contact with the Boyz em de band
