Unless that is a VERY recent trait, this is not so. He clips
one on.

Rigoutat did make a model with inbuilt pickups for one of their
sponsored players who did miraculous things on it at one of
Nora Post's oboe days. I seem to recall there was a foot pedal
attachment so you could have a repeater going, and a this, and a
that.

Maybe it even made cappuccino as well.
