Korg has been the winner for me through three iterations. The latest I have
is C-30 and it has input for clip mike and it generates whatever note you
choose. It can be calibrated to higher and lower pitch needs, and it is
perfectly happy with the low register of bassoon, although not so well in
the bottom with the clip-mike on the bocal. Small, light and indestructible.
