What are you up to oboewise?
I've been experimenting with various knives, recently, the Charles
Double Reeds double hollow ground, and the medium double hollow ground
Landwell. I've found that the very sharp double hollow ground knives are
best for working on the tip and the heavier ones, like the Swiss knife,
for skinning the cane, setting the reed up and working the back.
