Subj: [DR-L] hand luggage travel

Dear List:
I see on the evening news that perhaps those of us who travelled recently to
Muncie may have experienced the last voyage during which we could carry our
oboes or bassoons aboard as hand luggage.I insisted and my two oboes were
carried on my lap or strapped to the empty seat nearby.
Anyone have experience with the new changes?
What fears:to place our treasured insurance in the boot of the plane with
the rest of the luggage?
