Mark, I am grateful that you run this list and the forums. I agree with you,
the listserv is different from the forums and they seem to serve different
audiences and have different purposes. I will more frequently read the
emails from the list than peruse the topics of the forum. It is a matter of
time and convenience.

I'm sorry the IDRS have chosen to do away with their listserv. I was
intrigued by the many postings from around the globe. I can't imagine the
forums ever being that lively, but it sounds like a decision was made and
will not be reversed. It is sad.
