Actually I do have the local band conductor in San Francisco
convinced that the double reeds suffer when the pitch climbs...
It's other conductors around the country.

And I'd like to know if the Buffet's or Howarth's that get sold in
Europe do center around A442 instead of A440, or, if for example
the Kreuls might be even higher.
