Hi Harold,
I liked reading those stories of your trip and I'm hoping the IDRS list just had a gurgle in their system... that is known to happen every now and then.
Perhaps if you tried to e-mail Yoshi directly he'll confirm whether you were banned or not. Do note while this list is a free-er list, what is said here travels and is kept for posterity for searching at woodwind.org (a lovely feature, mind you).
Regards,

Subject: [DR-L] what I brought back from Muncie
Hi Independent and Free List!
I am back in Rio and seem to be bumped--for good?--off the regular
"traditional"(like Cocacola) List for my bad behavior of regular
reporting,etc
In any case, was wonderful to see all of you and would appreciate a list of
interesting items /"toys"--you are enjoying from the Muncie bash.
My little lsit of new toys include:
(1)silver oboe tubes ( go with my golden) by Chudnow
(2)A tuner-metronome (in one) for 35 bucks!
(3)Spanish oboe cane
(4)An EH swab (guaranteed not to get caught?)
(5)The catalogue of a big oboe shop which will now be moving to NYC
(6)The calling card of one of the finest oboe repairmen and one of the
finest oboes made now moving to Jacksonville?(Hestitant about mentioning
brand names)
(7) A new lovely CD by oboist Diana Dohety of Australia
(8)Fond memories of another wonderful IDRS convention.
Best regards,
Harold Emert
