The selected fragment is the real difference. Instead of seeing how much
liberty and freedom can be taken away, isn't it far more noble to see how
much freedom the society is able to manage.
Haven't we shown that we can run businesses more effectively than the
government? Hasn't the government amply demonstrated its inability to create
a workable educational system for all of its citizens? They have bungled
agriculture, oil, aviation, health, security, energy; all but war, and they
aren't very good at that yet. They appear unable to perform their primary
function of defending our borders or preserving our culture. Freedom should
not be a relative term.
