1:100 Clorox is probably completely effective on reeds and certainly would
taste4 better. We used 1:10 in the dental office for a wipe down of flat
surfaces. Zephiran would be OK as we used it in dentistry for many years. I=
t
is not terribly reliable as it is inactivated by some proteins and it loses
strength in time (?) that is pretty much what barbers use to "sterilize"
combs and shears.
