With all due respect.....

I sincerely apologize, but I have got to vent.

Although many times this list is rather slow and there
is little activity at all, at times, I am about to
scream over hearing so much about Mr. Fawcett and his
woes. I am no fan of his, and I find him to be a bit
abrassive at times and to be more than a bit of a
know-it-all, posting opinions on virtually everything,
even when it's something he knows little to nothing
about.

No doubt, those at the IDRS simply became as fed up
with him and I am now, if not moreso.

Might the support for Herb please be communicated
offlist, please? I am quite disinterested in what his
troubles have been, and rather feel for those at the
IDRS who have no choice but to deal with him.

Most oboists I would imagine don't want to be told how
to make reeds, for instance, by any bassoonist, let
alone one who doesn't even make his living in the
field. He posts much too often, and often on topics on
which he has little or even no knowledge.
