Mignone, Challenging? I'll say! Setting aside musical and style
considerations, there are the mechanical problems of the very high register,
the articulated F4 as a grace note, and the very rapid repeated notes in
some waltzes.
Lovely music, and I can dream of a time long ago, when I might have been
temped to perform them. Now they are etudes for me, as are the set of 18 by
Bernie Garfield.
