Sorry to bring up an old topic, but I can't seem to
find past posts, regarding disinfecting _student_
reeds. This summer, I'll have 20 junior high
bassoonists (Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp), and I'm sure
I'll need to occasionally try a reed or 2. What do
folks on the list recommend, for "sterilizing" a reed,
before and after use? I'm not interested in soaking
cane in disinfectant, etc., but am interested in
"safely" trying student reeds. Thanks in advance for
any suggestions. Peace, Jim
