There's a piece by Boris Koutzen for bassoon, alto sax and cello. Not
bad. I played it many years ago and I remember liking it. Published by
Mercury Music, I think. Check with Presser. Probably out of print.
Then there's the David Amram trio, Tenor sax, bassoon and horn, if I
remember correctly. That's from C.F. Peters. Probably still around.
After that, I'm drawing a blank!

Subject: looking for works that include sax and bassoon
Dear Colleagues,
Does anyone have suggestions for pieces that include bassoon and
saxophone
(alto or soprano)? I'm familiar with the Tomasi and Heiden sextet but
am
looking for other pieces (duos, trios, quartets that include sax).
Thanks!
