Hello Richard,
You might check out 2 pieces by Darius Milhaud, the Creation du Monde or the
Scaramouche. I know they feature the alto saxophone as a soloist but might
also have bassoon in the small ensembles of each. I recall that they might be
10 piece ensembles or slightly larger. Gosh, it's been a long time since I was
a legit saxophone major! There is also the windmusicplus.com catalog to
peruse for various mixed woodwind ensemble music. Hope that helps.
