Sugar is the fuel that fires the human furnace. Where we obtain it, and its
qualities, and how it is metabolized is of some interest to many of us.
I don't advocate an in-depth nutritional study on our list, but it is at
least as interesting as the discussion of alloys used in oboe staples and
the fatness of an oboe receiver. From what I have read, no one offers
concrete figures or reasonable research on any of that stuff either. True
science is sometimes hard to achieve.
Stay well,
Herb
