Dear list-

Claire Nicholson will perform Vivaldi's Bassoon Concerto in A Minor
(RV498) with the Kokomo Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, March 18, at
7:30pm. The concert will be in Havens Auditorium on the Indiana
University - Kokomo campus, 2300 S Washington St, Kokomo, IN 46904
(about 50 miles north of Indianapolis). Ticket prices are $13 or $15
dollars; there is a $2 discount for students and seniors. For

Claire is a sophomore at Butler University; her appearance is the
result of being named a co-winner in the senior division of the KSO's
concerto competition. The competition is open to undergraduate
students who live or study within 65 miles of Kokomo. (The other co-
winner is Jonathan Reed, a Butler piano student who will be
performing Grieg's Piano Concerto.)
