About 5 years or so ago I pursued this and there was a new program
out to do just that. In reading the reviews on it, it was still
pretty innacurate and required a lot of manual clean up. I
haven't looked for anything since. I would imagine by now the
technology would be available and improved but I haven't kept up
with it.

Is there such an OCR system that lets you scan in a part and then
have a
program transpose it for printing?
