A year or two ago, on "Malcolm in the Middle" the real uber-geek
complained along the lines of "Cut it out! If I feel the need for
that kind of abuse, I'll go for a lesson with my oboe teacher!" Took
a while to sink in that someone had actually used the word 'oboe' on
a mainstream TV show.
