I'd check with the airlines. There was an announcement just this past week
that the FSA wasn't going to be confiscating small scissors and screwdrivers
and the like any longer, but I don't know whether that would include, for
example, reed knives and razor blades.

When in doubt, pack it in your checked luggage.
