Hi,
You aren't going to be very far from Houston. Get on 59S heading
North and that will take you to Houston. Here are a couple of
well known oboists who you might try to contact.
Good luck,
Charles

Hi,
I'm an oboist from England in need of some advice. I've completed
undergraduate and postgraduate studies in London and as I'm going
to be
visiting family in Texas over the Christmas period for a short
while
(approx. 2 weeks), thought that this might be an opportunity for
me to have
a couple of lessons with somebody while I'm over there (I'm keen
to find out
more about the differences between the two styles of playing).
I'll be in
Richmond I think but don't mind travelling if it's not too far.
Does anyone
have any suggestions as to who I might ask? I was thinking maybe a
professor
from one of the Universities but have no idea where to start.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Uchenna Ngwe
