The piece that floats to the front of my mind in response to this is
really the Cimarosa. We all learn the Handel sonatas reasonably early
in our careers, but they can be very daunting for a young player, so
maybe they're best not assayed at this point.

..... <sigh> dreamingly remembering a glorious Wisconsin Indian summer
in 1978, when I must've put close to 100 miles on my bike...
